BEAUTY PORRIDGE :: INSTRUCTIONS

6-8 minutes

Over medium high heat, bring 1 1/2 cup water, broth or milk of choice and 3/4 cup Primordial Superfood :: Beauty Porridge to a boil. Use 1/4 cup less liquid if you prefer thicker porridge.

Whisk occasionally to prevent porridge from sticking to bottom and sides of pot. Once it boils, reduce heat to low and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Porridge will thicken as it cools.

For a savory porridge, add salt, season to taste and serve warm. Optional - top with cooked fish, chicken, tempeh, other proteins and/or root vegetables.

For a sweet porridge, add sweetener and serve warm. Optional - top with fresh fruit, greek yogurt or toasted nuts.

For a savory soup, add salt and ¼ cup more broth, season to taste and serve hot. Optional - top with cooked fish, chicken, tempeh, other proteins and/or root vegetables.

For a sweet pudding, add sweetener, allow to cool then blend until smooth. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Serve cold. Optional - top with whipped cream or layer in a parfait.
